At the Book Club we believe that the arts - and particularly the book arts - can open minds and hearts.
With over 30 public programs, events & exhibitions each year, we educate, entertain and inform by amplifying the power of the art and craft of the book - fine print, design, art, illustration, photography, book construction, and more.
Book Club programs, events & exhibitions introduce participants to new ideas, explore new themes and provide a window into the lives of people and places unfamiliar to them.
With over 750 members and supporters, the Book Club engages and educates more than 4,000 individuals each year though its efforts and has become a haven for book lovers and bibliophiles in the Bay Area and beyond.
